Jennie Coles studied English at Hertford College, Oxford and graduated from the Slade school of Fine Art where her work with text, performance and video has led to a renewed desire to work in the medium of theatre.

Jennie took her debut play Half In Love to the Edinburgh fringe in 2004.

Bed and Breakfast premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2007.

Her play Long Story Short was recently featured on Start night at Hampstead theatre.
